The story revolves around an elderly man who comes to live in a two storey building. He is a violin player bas well as a drunkard.

Arthur and Anne’s daughter, Dina, who lives in the same building, is a talented violinist. The old man develops a fondness for the girl. Meanwhile a youth named Rocky who has an interest towards Dina misunderstands their relationship.
The elderly man is a mystery to all the occupants of the building but soon his real identity comes to light. He was one of the country’s most popular movie stars during a certain era. This heightens the tenant’s curiosity. Why is the old man in hiding?

Description

Gayan Ranadheera’s maiden movie Viyapath Bambara will be screening at 15 LFD circuit cinema halls islandwide from December 3. The film is produced by Prasad de Silva.

The cast comprises Anura Dharmasiriwardena, Rupun Ranadheera, Uthpala Gunatileke, Cletus Mendis, Nandana Hettiarachchi, Manel Vanaguru, Nadeeka Gunasekara, Daya Tennakoon, Grace Ariyawimal, Thanuja Dilhani, Dhanushka Iroshani and others. Sujith Nishantha is the cameraman while Ranjith Jayasooriya had penned the dialogs. The music is by Sarath de Silva and the editor is Praveen Jayaratne. The movie includes songs sung by H R Jothipala, Latha Walpola, Nirosha Virajini, Roshen Lakshitha, Milan Suresh and Udaya Nilanga.
